3rd June – BBA Talks: Adam Hill and Paddy Clarkson @18:00
We’re delighted to welcome Adam Hill and Paddy Clarkson for an inspiring talk about creativity, craftsmanship, and the art of reuse.
Few people understand how to reuse materials with such joy, flair, and commercial insight as Adam Hill. Together with his wife and business partner Maria Speake, he founded @retrouvius over 30 years ago. Since then, they have reimagined and reinvented parts of some of the UK’s most remarkable buildings — from library leather repurposed into interiors to the floors of Heathrow Terminal 2.
Since 2021, Paddy Clarkson has led the warehouse team at Retrouvius and brings deep practical knowledge of transforming old materials into beautiful new pieces. Paddy completed the BBA Furniture Making Course in 2024 and also creates his own furniture for sale through Instagram and London markets.
All are warmly invited to join our students for what promises to be a fascinating evening.
