Join IIMS at the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis, Dorset, from 1–4 December 2025.
This hands-on course combines theory with practical experience. You’ll spend three days surveying two different boats under the guidance of senior surveyors. The last day focuses on report writing and refining your surveyor’s tool kit. Your final task: write a report on a boat you inspected earlier in the week. Instructors will review and assess your work, providing valuable feedback.
