Dovetail Joints

Hand cut dovetail joints are often seen as a sign of quality in a piece of furniture; on this course you will spend two days learning the skills required to cut your own accurate dovetail joints.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

You’ll be shown how to correctly set out and cut dovetails, both through and lapped, before trying your hand at both. On the second da, you’ll hone your skills and have the chance to made a small dovetail box using the skills you have learned. The course fee includes use of tools and materials.
