We were delighted when the newly formed Lyme Regis Gig Club commissioned the Boat Building Academy to build their first gig. 

Building the first gig for Lyme Regis Gig Club was not only a tremendous honour and opportunity for our staff and students, but also united the Academy and people of Lyme Regis in a community endeavour; to build a craft to represent the town in the ancient sport of Cornish Pilot Gig Racing.
